I'm always getting ask what Race and/or Nationality am I because I look "different". I'm 6'1 1/2, high yellow, with natural pretty green cat eyes with specks of colors in them which changes colors according to the light. I have natural light brown hair with a few natural blonde streaks. I was born blonde and blue-eyed though. People assume I'm Mulatto/half black and white or whatever you want to call it... but they're wrong. My mom is brown skinned... her mom is 3/4 black and 1/4 white. We're not 100% sure what descent of white she is because my Mulatto great-grandfather was adopted, but it's said he's Jewish. That whole side of my family orginated from Louisiana; they're all Creole. My dad on the other hand, is my skin color, light... but his hair is bright reddish brown and he has pretty eyes too. He's African-American and Irish.
So, for all those inquiring minds out there... My name is Juneaux, and I'm 50% Creole of Color, 25% African American, and 25% Irish. When I don't feel like explaining, I'm just a light skinned black girl of Creole descent.
Speaking of Creole, my mom is supposed to be making Jambalaya. Mmmm!
